Green Concerns

In 2015 Bakewell Quaker Meeting held a Green Festival at the Bakewell Showground. About 5,000 people came to a wonderful day. In 2017 a follow-up Green Day was held at Bakaewell Quaker Meeting House with stalls and talks which was also well attended.

Now we are considering our next steps. There is so much to do that we have to target our concern carefully and we are thinking what is best. Please let us know what you consider to be most important for this area using the response box on the side of this page. Your involvement would be invaluable.

In the meantime, we are following up the Green Day idea of publishing examples of personal action. Under the heading of 101 Ways to Save the World! a regular example will be published in the Peak Advertiser with an invitation for anyone to send in their 100 words and photograph to the website to join the Ways.
